When using SUS430 for enclosures and frames with the assumption of painting, the surface finish grade of the material can become excessively high quality, which may increase product costs. Therefore, reducing costs at an appropriate quality level for painting was a challenge. SUS430KD is a non-standard product that omits the surface finishing process, making it less expensive (10-15% reduction in material costs). The adhesion of the paint has also improved, achieving cost reduction without significantly changing the quality. [VA/VE Case] Cost reduction by changing from SUS304 to dual-layer steel plate.

In the current situation where the prices of materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and iron used in precision sheet metal are soaring, we would like to introduce a case where we proposed dual-layer steel plates as an alternative to SUS304 for cost reduction. While SUS304 is excellent, its material cost is high, making the utilization of alternative materials during new product development an important issue for cost reduction. Dual-layer steel plates are less expensive than SUS304 and can enhance strength while reducing weight. They are also adopted in automobiles and industrial machinery, contributing to our customers' cost reduction. SUS-made build H steel scratch removal and scratch blurring

This is a SUS steel build H-beam that has undergone sandblasting. The customer consulted us about whether we could blur the noticeable scratches that occurred during manufacturing with blasting.

◎ Build H Steel (BH English: build H) If you need a cross-section that is not available in standard H steel, we create Build H by welding. The welding can be corner welds or complete penetration welds with K-shaped grooves, depending on the structural design. Welding distortion is corrected by air cooling or water cooling after heating. Stainless steel is often used in its raw form without painting, so we sometimes receive inquiries like this. The product this time had relatively noticeable machining marks, but we were able to hide the overall scratches by taking the time to sandblast it. Blurring the scratches takes time, but it can lead to uneven application, so we repeatedly check to ensure that the aesthetics do not worsen.
